Seymour Railway Heritage Centre
The Seymour Railway Heritage Centre was established in 1983 as the Seymour Loco Steam Preservation Group to restore and operate steam locomotive J515.
Today, The SRHC proud to showcase it’s rollingstock to the Victorian public and the interstate market.

Seymour Railway Heritage Centre Inc. operates special passenger services throughout Victoria and Interstate utilising its extensive fleet of preserved diesel locomotives and air-conditioned steel and heritage wooden passenger carriages.
Our heritage rail services offer you the best experience possible by our dedicated volunteers and staff.
Our Centre is located in the heart of Seymour, Victoria about 100 km North East of Melbourne and the Depot is served by both broad and standard gauge tracks providing excellent access to the entire rail network.

Our Services
Passenger heritage trains are available for charter and can be utilised for weddings, birthdays, conferences and other special functions. Our Trains have a licenced Bar and Kiosk. On board dining can also be arranged in our dining carriage.

Locomotives, freight and passenger rolling stock is available for hire to Government and private operators.
Our Workshop
The Seymour Railway Heritage Centre has a workforce that has developed wide experience in the rail industry for maintenance, engineering and specialised restoration work.

We welcome new members to the centre. Everything from skilled engineers, to office administration, cleaning and even gardening. You don’t even need railway experience. Contact us for more details.
