The Seymour Railway Heritage Centre encourages membership of our Group and provides opportunities for all members with an interest in railways to join our volunteer workforce to assist us in our work.
You must be over the age of 18 years to participate as an active volunteer, You can help in a number of ways by hands on work in the mechanical, electrical, operations or civil engineering areas or simply becoming a member and supporting us financially which will allow the continuation of our objectives.
We invite you to become a member of Seymour Railway Heritage Centre and enjoy the benefits. We are always looking for people to assist our heritage restoration projects or simply helping out on the trains.
Your Membership will allow you to:
- Be notified of all our events
- Our Newsletter, published on a regular basis (normally four a year)
- Assist in the restoration of our trains and operations.
- Enjoy other special benefits and pre-advise of upcoming tours.

All membership applications made to the SRHC will be reviewed by the SRHC Board.
Seymour Railway Heritage Centre is a volunteer not-for-profit association and is registered as a Gift Recipient and any donation over $2.00 is Tax Deductible.
All donations and revenue is reinvested in the restoration of sustainable rolling stock and locomotives which will help to ensure our continued viability.
Note: To become an active Member at the Depot or perform on train passenger work you must be over the age of 18 years and hold a Working with Children Card.
