Victorian Railways Composite Dining Car
STATUS : under restoration

The restoration of this 1913 Dining Car is well underway with significant structural work completed. Many of the original features such as internal decorative fittings survive and have been retained. Others have not survived and will need to be replicated. No original furniture survives and what remained of the kitchen has been removed.

Victorian Railways Long Counter Buffet Car for 'Spirit of Progress'
STATUS : stored pending restoration

This car once featured on the iconic 'Spirit of Progress' for use on its overnight run from Melbourne to Sydney and v.v. This care is in reasonable condition and will not require an vast amount of work to restore fully.

Victorian Railways 'J' Class Steam Locomotive - Broad Gauge

STATUS : restoration underway

This locomotive entered service on the Victorian Railways on 10 June 1954 and is one of the few remaining of the 60 units built of this class. The locomotive was withdrawn in 1968 and has in preservation since. Currently the locomotive is undergoing extensive repairs including tender rebuilding and boiler plate replacement.

STATUS : restoration semi complete

Entering service on 2 June 1954 this locomotive holds the unique distinction amongst the 'J' Class of being converted to Standard Gauge. This process is complete however the majority of the restoration including extensive boiler work needs to be completed.
